Important notice for users who have upgraded to Safari 3.1 or upgraded to OS X 10.5.3
- Please upgrade to Amnesty Widget Browser 1.4.3 or later which resolves issues with the Weather widget.
Important notice for Tiger users who have installed Safari 3.0
- After installing Safari 3, some widgets may not display or function correctly. Please upgrade to Amnesty Widget Browser 1.4.1 or later which resolves these issues.
General Issues
- The Webclip widget and webclips created in Leopard's version of Safari do not appear in the Amnesty menu. This is because webclip widgets are not actual, independent widgets, but rather special instances of the Webclip widget itself. We are currently investigating how to open these special widgets inside Amnesty.
- A few Panther (10.3.9) users have found that Amnesty will not launch on their systems (Amnesty will launch and then immediately quit). If you experience this problem, please select Software Update... from the Apple menu and make sure you install the latest Java updates. Upon restarting, Amnesty should launch successfully.
- Flash-based Widgets display a popup menu when control-clicked instead of the widget popup menu [Workaround: press and hold the Control key while selecting the widget from the Amnesty menu]
- Widgets do not relocate if the screen resolution changes (e.g. when using an external monitor with a laptop) [Workaround: create a separate layout for each resolution]
Unsupported Third-Party Widgets

Panther (10.3.9) Issues
Note: Some widgets are written specifically to use technologies available only in Tiger or Leopard. These widgets, when loaded in Amnesty products under Panther, may not run at all.
